2020 OSSAA FOOTBALL PLAYOFF INFORMATION
***The NFHS Network owns the video rights to all OSSAA playoff sports and activities. If you have a student group, booster club, media outlet, etc, that would like to video live stream any portion of a playoff contest, regardless of sport, activity, length or platform, please have them fill out the Video Live Streaming Agreement form found on the OSSAA website under the MEDIA tab. This form needs to be sent to Van Shea Iven at vsiven@ossaa.com at least four (4) days prior to the contest being played for approval.***

FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT INFORMATION
The NFHS has alerted State Associations to a football helmet recall for about 6000 football helmets (August 17, 2016), from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the football helmet manufacturer Xenith. The recall involves the Xenith Epic Varsity, X2 Varsity, X2E Varsity and Youth football helmets with a gloss or metallic-painted polycarbonate shell sold or factory-reconditioned between May 1, 2015 and March 18, 2016. 2020 NFHS FOOTBALL RULES INTERPRETATION ON THE SCHUTT SPORTS "SPLASH SHIELD"
Schutt Sports "Splash Shield"
The NFHS has been notified of this new football product that is being manufactured by Schutt Sports for their football face mask. The product was reviewed by the NFHS. The Schutt Sports “Splash Shield” as shown will be permissible for competition and is compliant with current 2020 NFHS Football Rule 1-5-3c(4) as long as it is clear and has no tint. The NFHS is not endorsing or mandating this product.
